alright...here's my little dilemma...
I just dropped in the D15B to replace my D16z6. The swap went alright...well I can't really complain simply because the engine's running (and pretty damn clean at that); anyways, I went to a shop and they told me that I didn't clip in the shafts all the way, and insisted on me changing the seals on the inner part of the shafts. Umm...after the shop, I think they told me that they put in the shafts. I left the shop driving away and felt a little vibration in the car, I thought it might have been the 6 month old fuel..or maybe a dirty rotor in the distributor; out of nowhere, I'm making the right turn and POP...sounded like a misfire and shook the car for a quick second...anybody have any advice to give a person broke and wanting to fix my ride?

Without pics... it would be hard to say if the CV shaft was seated fully into the transaxle.
Pop that wheel off and double check all your bolts and stuff... make sure everything is tight.
Since it is popping, I would assume it isn't seated yet. Either that or the CV shaft joint itself is bad. Also, check the intermediate shaft too... make sure it is seated into the transmission, and the CV shaft for that side is seated in the intermediate shaft.

So you were able to do your own swap, but you aren't sure how to check if the axles are in the tranny all the way. Just look down from above the tranny and you can easily see (and feel) if the pass axle is in all the way. If you look from the driver side underneath the mani you can visually check the driver axle. Not that big of a deal....just get out there and check stuff out.

yea...they dont....they have a long fckin driver side axle that i know of....
