After searching and reading alot of post...it seems that 2" CP just doesnt work well...but what if you are boosting really low and dont plan to run the car hard at all...just building the turbo for the fun and experience, will it really put alot of pressure and blow anything, excess wear, limit horsepower...i found that it will not give you the availability of power you can achieve when you reach higher RPM's...anyone know anything about this insight...thanks...ohh also will be running t25 at about 6 pounds of boost, on a D16a1 "DOHC"...with side mount intercooler...yada yada yada...thanks alot HT

 

it really comes down to how much air in terms of volume you are talking about. 2 1/4 seems to be the norm, and if i remember the hot side of the drag kits are actually 2"? and the cold side 2 1/4 but even 2 1/2 will support a good bit. just go off of your side mount dimensions. youll be fine.

 

Ok...thanks yah the intercooler side mount dimensions are 2...thats why i just wants to do that instead changing size...thanks anyone have anything else i should know...

 

if those are your goals then you'll be fine with 2" piping
