so in short the car died at a dead stop during idle? there could be countless of things wrong with it. can you give us any more detail? and did it turn back on? if so how does it drive now?

if car consistantly stalls at when coming to a stop it could be the torque converter. next time place car in "N" as you are coming to a stop and see what happens. If it does not stall then you know where the problem most likely lies

Suggestion: Not sure if this is the case..
My friend had a dodge intrepid and his car stalled like 10 times, at a stop light and while he was driving. Turns out, he had a bad speed sensor. Not sure this is the case with Honda.

Well as if trying to diagnose online isn't fun enough, you want to go third party diagnostics?
Don't get me wrong but when ya have the car in hand it's way easier to provide solid info.
What is the idle speed in park?
Any work ever been done to the car? spark plugs look good?
Throttle plate area ever been cleaned?
Can you unplug the IAC and get a 200 RPM drop?
A Honda is NOT a Dodge, A bad speed sensor would throw a CEL and not cause the car to die.

I would think it is not getting enogh fuel. as if the pump,is going, the filter cloged, or just an idle adj.
