What size intercooler will fit with the least amount of fabrication in a b16 91 crx hf, 400-450 hp, koyo radiator....Thanks!!!

I thought i saw somone with a 32 x 6 x 2.5 intercooler...but i want to make sure it will fit before i purchase it.

i think you asked the wrong question.

shouldnt you be asking what is the most efficent intercooler for my setup?

largest isnt always the best!

it can effect you in a bad way if you arent running enough air to push through such a large intercooler!

your flow to surface rate will be way off

for example, if you are runnnig a 20x12x4 intercooler and pushing 6psi that is wayyyy overkill and the flow to surface area is way to large for such a small amount of psi.

that is just an example... most small intercoolers can handle 300+whp you dont need large to do a great job!

 

im going to be boosting 18-20 psi on a gt30r, b16 84mm pistons. i know efficiency is the most important thing but if it doesn't fit what difference does it make.

 

i see well larger is definitly going to be in your ball park range. as far as size goes i think it depends on how much you are interested in removing from your car.

me i have a 91 civic si and running a full race backdoor intercooler 20x11x3 fitment great but alot removed. my intercooler is almost bigger than the one you named its size.

but it depends on how much you have removed to make room for x intercooler
