have d15b jdm saloon,does anyone know how to tell if the trans has lsd?its a92 d15b vtec saloon 5 speed box with hydraulic clutch and rod gear linkage.

 

look through the hole where the axles go in and if there a bar or not i think if theres a bar theres lsd or it could be the other way around i forgot. search for it.

 

some JDM s20 LSD boxes will have a stamp : LSD or RSD on the tranny (just below the distributor)

^Thats confusing: Usually the easiest way to tell is to look through the holes where the axles go (when you do this you are basically looking through the differential) If it is Limited slip, you can see right through. If its not Limited Slip, you wont be able to see through.

Or just go do a big burnout like i did and see if you get tiresmoke/burnout marks from both sides consistantly

The tranny above is LSD, if you look through that hole and there's a vertical bar going through it, that means it's not LSD
