Default HELP PLZ, d16z6 swap in del sol=no v-tec wich map sensor do i use, i give up, HELP

i did a swap on my 93 del sol s, i removed the d15 4 a d16z6, got the p28 ecu, i have no v tec, why, there is a map sensor on the firewall on a 1.5 but on the 1.6 its on the throttle body? huh... i hooked up the one on the throttle body, it runs fine to you try and run it hard, then ckeck engine light comes on, after that it runs fine but before the check engine light comes on, it acts like its runing out of fuel, but will run good @ high rpm, im lost i did my h22 swap in a accord easier than this, any knolege of this prob. will be app. i got over 7 k in this car i want it 2 be 100%, thanks alot.

You did an H22 swap in an accord but are stumped on a Z6 in a sol? 1st, did you even wire the car for Vtec? You can't just plug crap in and then have it work. There are missing wires in the harness that will need to be added. The map sensor SHOULD be on the throtle body for a Z6. Only the DX crap has it on the firwall. Easy fix there also. You will need to correct the Vtec problems before your CEL will go away, obviously. Take care of those things first before you go out and flog the car and then ask us "Geee, why doesn't it work right"...

use the map sensor wire from the firewall.

i have a z6 in my 92 hatch. it had a firewall mounted map. If i use the plug off the z6 harness then it throws a cel and wont idle.

if i use the firewall mounted plug it works fine.
