Icon2 map sensor swap?

ok well i have tested and troubleshot most of the problems with idling. members suggest map sensor. now i found a sensor from a 96-97 civic for $74, i have a 93 del sol si 1.6l d16z6. the 93 sensor is $185. would there be a problem if i used the 96-97 sensor in place of the 93. they look identical, i just didn't know if the computer setup would be different and won't read it correctly. has anyone tried this or knows about this if it will work? thanks

it should work..but try looking for a used one first before spending that amount for a new one and end up not being the problem

junkyard has a million of them and they are all the same if they are on the throttle body. Firewall mounted ones are also all the same. Yours is on the throttle body. They should be less than $20 in every junkyard.
