Did 475 on one last week but ran out of injector. Going to upgrade the fuel system and see how much more we can get out of it. The 475 was at 21psi.

I've personally seen the 500whp mark on a 50 trim, mustang dyno. 2.0l b18c.

How high was that pushed on pump gas before switching to race gas?

I'm looking to see how much power I can get out of my SC50 .48 a/r on pump gas. 81.5mm LS/VTEC.

Can you list the head setup? Seems like a lot of power to me at 21 lbs. Im at 11 lbs and make 300, with a conservative tune, stock block and head b18c1. I was hoping to start a build up real soon with pistons/rods/ maybe a new manifold and im looking for around that horsepower. Thanks

85mm ls block with type r crank, ported head, edelbrock manifold. Only bad part on that setup is the drag manifold. That was also on E85 fuel.

Subscribed.

I really want to push the 57 trim hard on my H22! my 60fts are loving the characteristics of this turbo and have no desire whatsoever to "upgrade". I want to keep working with it.

well, 60's aren't really dependant very much on the turbo. I'd definitely use a bigger turbo if you're looking for over 500whp.

my cousin put down about 450whp on 22 or 23ish lbs on a b16 with Edelbrock manifold and GSR cams, stock head otherwise.

I think 455whp @ 26psi on a Peakboost 57trim Kit.

t04e wheel turbos won't make much over 500whp. Its just a fact of they only flow about 45lb/min. If someone made significantly more power, then I'd assume the dyno corrections were pretty significant.

A local shop has done a couple 1.8's and 2.0L hondas in a row on SC34's, ranging from stock sleeve/head lv-v's to itr's to sleeved/tall deck 2.0L b16's; I think they got a few good deals on the snails. They were doing 400-420whp on Wisconsin 93 octane at 20-25psi, blowing hot air after that.

They weren't making that sort of torque (to OP) though. The other thing is that honda heads seem to like oversized turbos (they like raw flow), where many other motors love high pressure ratios. I believe it has to do with how the heads flow, and the cam (mainly overlap). If torque falls off soon NA, its usually going to do that w/o a giagantic turbo too.

You are correct, they don't flow as well as a Honda head, but that's not the only reason.

Also consider I have stock head ( and stock cams ) and can only rev to 7,800.

only 7800? lol wtf do you think hondas rev out to? Not everyone revs to 10k. Most are no more than 8.5k if that

I know... but I even loose power up there. You don't know how many people I would kill to rev to 8.5K and still produce power.

Trust me... a "well massaged" 1.8T head will only flow CLOSE to what a FACTORY K20 head will flow. That's sad.
