Neptune tuned dohc ZC dyno w00t!
***UPDATED ADDED VIDEO - look below***
I finally got my Neptune ECU installed and dyno tuned by Cortney Green in the snowy state of Utah.
We did a total 27 or 28 dyno runs, tuning pump gas and race gas maps. We used a p28 vtec ecu, with vtec enabled even though i have a non-vtec motor. We swap over to the vtec maps at 5000rpms. The vtec maps can run better timing and have much better fuel resultion.
We couldnt get the my boost any higher then 24psi - and even at 24psi the boost was falling off on the topend (you can see it in the dyno plot below - look at the difference between the pump gas and race gas map - the pump gas map keeps building power while my race gas dyno just falls off). I was hoping to break 400whp but we couldnt get the boost high enough. We figured at 32psi we would of put down 470whp. Next time!
I put down 330whp and 240torque on 91 octane pump gas at 20psi. And 380whp and 280 torque at 24psi on 112octane race gas. Im not super happy with the race gas output because we couldnt get the boost any higher. But 330whp on pump gas is awesome!!
327whp 239 torque @ 20psi on 91 octane pump gas
369whp 279 torque @ 23-24psi on 112 octane race gas (the best looking highboost dyno we made)
old engine pix - ive since cleaned up all the loose wires and hoses.

Id like to thank Cortney Green for all his help and for the awesome tuning. Car runs like a dream now. Also a big thanks to Javier at JG Engine Dynamics for building me an awesome cyl head. Also a shoutout to my friends over at Prostreetonline.com for all the help getting me most of my parts, and to ben at importparts.com. Big thanks to Jason over at Phantom motorsports for letting us use his dyno for the afternoon - good luck next year in ProAM with the del Sol i wanna see 160mph!! Id also like to thank all the other d-series ninjas on this board, couldnt of done it without all your help and inspiration.

Glad to hear everything worked out and you made it home safely... Congrats man...
Cortney told me he was using the vtec maps because he was expecting to tune above 8000rpm... You guys decided not to go above 8?

Re: (Hella_JDM)
Props on a great numbers. I stopped by there just after your last dyno run with some friends. Its cool to see something different and with great success.
When do you plan on coming back to re-tune? And have you been able to figure out yet why you're not making more boost?

EDIT: ok, weird, first set of pics, no pipe on wastegate, then second pic., when it was on the dyno there is a pipe of the wastegate, so i know i'm not seein ****....i need info....lol.

Re: (t3h_sl0w)
It was just on there temporarily for the tune. Last dyno I saw there, they used a flew pipe on the wastegate, and it would rise as the motor reved. It wsa pretty funny.
