anyone running stock p72 with a blox I'm on gsr
Just like the title states. I have a 95 gsr motor and Looking into upgrading to a blox IM along with other things. But I was wondering if there are any problems running the stock p72 since the blox IM doesn't have the secondary butterflies. Or if you had to switched ecu's to like a chipped p28.

I run my stock p72 ecu on my first gen skunk2 IM (identical to the blox im) on my 94 gsr. Vtec does come on at 4400 and it feels like it bogs, but I only use this ecu if I sold out on the rest of my chipped/socketed p28 ecu's or for smog purposes if I know I'll be commuting or driving a really long distance just because gas mileage is typically better.

Isn't the stock GSR one better for daily driving. I have read on here also that with some port and pollishing of the stock manifold that you get some good gains. You loose the one of the butterflys and loose low end torque don't you with the blox, skunk2, and those type of manifolds?
I believe you can make a lot of power with the gsr manifold if you know what you are doing. Just wait to get the blox when you get that hondata in
. At least that is what I did.
