Default Need to port my jrsc Stube, how the **** can I do it??

OK
so the stube is basically a tube of aluminum with two 90degree bends
i've tried just using my rattail file, but the but the bends are too damn sharp.
I can't reach the inner angle on either one, only been able to take down the outer angles.

any tips??

I was thinking about maybe trying to bend the file into a curved shape that could
get back there easier, worth a shot but then theres the problem of how to bend it.

Anyways any tips appreciated.

heres an stube pic (stube on the left)

cut it in half, do each side individually then weld it back together.

update,
it was such a good idea to cut this thing in half.
I wouldn't have thought of it!

But yeah, I sliced her in 2 and boring it out is a breeze now, really have the freedom to do whatever I want.

I'm curious though, where should I go to get her welded back up? Any old weld shop should be able to do it?

It is cast aluminum, so i'm guessing that welding that isn't the most common task..

haven't checked out the yellowpages or anything yet though, but we'll c.

anyhoo, thanks.
