b17a1 help
I have a 93 gs-r and im looking to get some power out of it but it has 200,000 on it should I rebeld it and put high comp pistons in it or just do a few bolt on's? im looking to put down about 150-200 whp... or just boost the **** out of it with rods and pistons

200whp NA can be a little harder then it sounds. That and 150-200 is a huge range. If the motor still runs well/has good compression, then I wouldnt worry with rebuilding it. Maybe put in some new bearings, but thats all I'd do. Bolt ons should get you close to the 150 mark, so just rock out with that.

Given the B17 is stronger then its rated power (just off what I've seen) but its really around 135ish whp stock....which bolt-ons should put you just over the 150 mark.
well the motor runs fine but has a slight hesitation almost like a turboed car! I would like to see 150 or 170 whp it has 136.3 whp stock without the intake. I would like about 170 whp. I have a intake, header what all would i need without going internal.
