breakin and problems
Problem's LOL its a Honda dude !
I think the break in is about 600 miles by the manual i would vary your speed and rpm's for the 1st 600 miles dont stay at constant speeds you can redline it a few times just don't redline every gear everyday enjoy !

They're lying - it has one problem. As far as i know, they haven't corrected this since 2006, but if you're driving a manual, then watch out for 2nd and 3rd gear, especially at high RPM's.

Straight up?....
Read that nice little owner's manual that came with your new car.
What problems are you looking at?..... Plenty, if you don't.

Grinding of synchros, thats the main problem. Honda's transmissions are iffy in 2nd and 3rd gear. Just make sure the car is in gear before you let out the clutch, or else you will hear the grind that no one wants to hear. (Caused by synchros in the transmission).
I know my SI ran a little ruff towards the 4,000 mile mark as soon as i got my oil change at 4,100 miles it ran so much smoother so yea it def sucks alot of oil during break in !
