Default bad misfire/running on 3cyls at low rpm only! (srched)

oh god...here we go again. I resoldered all my wiring at the ecu....and the misfire went away..car ran fine for like 2 weeks...now all of the sudden the problem is back again and this time im not throwing any new codes whereas before i was throwing code 16...also i noticed that the total spudder/misfire will go away once the revs get to like 4500. at low revs under high throttle it sounds like a goddamn motor boat. Yes i replaced allll plugs wires/dizzy is new anyways...again..no codes! thanks

It can be your rotor in the distributor.Sometimes the screw comes loose and it will misfire like that.Or try another distributor if that doesnt work,If not,try another set of injectors because sometimes the injector locks up and cant squirt fuel nomore or at less often.Good luck bro,Darrell

Also if that doesnt work, try another ECU but see if any of your friends have the same car so U can try there parts out on yours before U spend any money on it.Darrell

Could be the MAP sensor going out, that's what mine did, and it would try to die unless i kept the rpms up

Im just so confused because the problem is sooooo on and off and i cant figure out what causes it!...for instance on the way to work on monday..half way there it did it hardcore like major sputter and it was pretty much running on 3 cyls...i didnt do a damn thing to it since then and on tuesday it didnt make a peep the entire trip there and back. Anyone have injectors for sale?

i have the same problem and the only code im throwing is 7 which is tps, but thats because my tps got crushed when i put the motor in. The misfire is only intermittant, if i get on it in 2nd it will start out fine then all the sudden it sputters and i shift into 3rd and it sputters like crazy then i go to 5th and its fine
