Anyone done any writeups, on converting over to natural gas? I know the 97+ civic model came out with a natural gas model. So i have been wondering about fuel pump and gas tank? And how easy it would be to convert over... I guess i could also use a obd1 to obd2 conversion harness to use the ecu... Maybe i will goto honda in the morning and inspect one of the natural gas honda's.

 

Yeah search "Built Motor Smog" and it will come up. They do it to smog exempt cars.

i don't think you guys understand the subject. i know that some guy in LA does a temp conversion to get your car smog exp. Does anyone know exactly what is needed to do it your self? I am going to honda today to figure it out myself... Should be pretty simple. If needed i guess I could buy most of the paarts off a crashed NG-Civic which is the GX model. Then just tune with crome...

 

i get what you're saying. you wanna know whats involved in doing it yourself. I just told you about the link so you could contact the guy that does it. he can tell you all of whats involved to convert your car.
