Default Emanage Ultimate and NYC OBD2 emissions.

Hey guys, I'm planning to put a built b18c into my '00 Civic coupe. The engine I believe is '99. What I'm thinking is using the emanage as it is still a piggyback however I'm unclear if it would pass emissions. I know the shop and they don't care for visual. They do plug to read the codes though.

Will it pass that particular test or no? I'm going to be using a 99 ecu from the teg though. TIA!

John

Yeah, it should pass... As long as you've got no check engine lights, and the engine is OBD2, you should have no problems.

what he said at the same time most piggybacks have a bypass mode to allow your ECU to operate as if they arent even there... not sure about yours but if so just bypass for the test.
