So after doing a lot of research i have come to the conclusion that such a device does/can exist. But they dont due to legality issues. I live in NY and the only way to pass inspection in my obd2 vehicle, the shop has to plug into the obd2 port and the ecu must communicate with their machine and tell it that there are no check engine lights and whatever else it needs to know. Passing inspections has been such a pain in the *** as long as i can remember. And every year it becomes this crazy stressful situation trying to get a sticker, and not only just getting a sticker, because if i only get a sticker i wont be able to renew my registration.

So after finding out that it is possible for someone to create a device that can send the right signals to "simulate" what the ecu needs to tell the inspection machine...I NEED one. If i had this device i would be happy then a pig in ****... I assume that somehow it would need to be able to read some real time data such as rpm and maybe speed?

Basically what i am getting at is....if someone out there can make me this device, I would be willing to compensate you for your time very fairly. I got a 98 crv running on aem ems s200, but i will be changing over to obd1 ecu and running on crome this week. My car would pass emissions if the computer was able to read what was going on, but as you know the standalone or obd1 ecu will not send the signals to the obd2 port.

Please someone with the knowledge and ability to do this, make me this device. I am almost at the point where its a name your price. I have a price in mind that I am sure would be able to cover the material and your time. For what i have to go through, and how much i have to pay every year for an inspection this help me out greatly.
