Default D15B swap

Just recently swapped in a d15b motor into my Vx hatch. Wanted to know if its safe running my motor with a vx ecu . I mean the ecu already has vtec but it is set at 2500. Will it affect the engine? One more thing will it make a major difference when I change my ecu to a p28 (Power wise) thanks

Alright thanks bro. Oh and one more thing. Im using my vx fuel rail. because the fuel line from the filter to the regulator would not fit on the d15b fuel rail. Is there a cheaper way of me getting a fuel line than rather spending 83 dollars for that one fuel line from honda.

Can you even use the VTEC-E VX ECU with regular VTEC?

They're nowhere near the same.

VTEC-E just has a regular camshaft...

I'm not sure the VTEC's hot swappable as the vibe everybody's giving off...

Also, your fuel maps are going to suck.

Bense would know this area well.

I swapped it out for a d15B. The engine code for the vx is a d15z1 and the motor i have now is a d15B. The ecu you have is not what im looking for.
