cylinder one not firing
cylinder one not firing to well...new plugs and wires..if car is running to long gas starts to squirt out of the header all gaskets are new to..timining, distrurbitor, msd box, or piston rings..she starts up with no problem just sounds like crap
Gas actually comes out of the exhaust manifold gasket? Maybe out of the injector o-ring, but I've never seen it come from that gasket. It would really have to be dumping though to cause the car to act up. Have you tried replacing the coil or cap/rotor in the dizzy?
i have only replaced my msd coil nd thats it...i dont want to keep throwing money at crap if theres nothing wrong with it..you know what i mean..when i unplug the plug for the spark plug for cylinder one it sounds that same as if its plugged in..it shoots gas out if the car is running nd reving

Do you have any friends with a B-series car? If so, you could try using their components and see if it goes away. That way you can determine what is the cause and buy just that part. Rotor/cap/coil speaking anyway. Another way to test spark on that plug is leave it in the plug boot on the plug wire and ground the end of it on something in the engine. Then have a friend crank the key a few times and see if the plug has spark. If not, go from there. I'd be willing to bet it's either in the wiring with the MSD somewhere, or something in the dizzy.

Doesn't matter, it's still a B-series distributor. These are just testing anyway to see if you can get away with the cheap stuff instead of an entire dizzy or something. So you rev'd in neutral? How high did you rev the car? Was it cold like you had just started it?

I've heard of injectors getting stuck shut... Perhaps yours got stuck open? Change the injector for cylinder #1 with the injector for cylinder #2, and see what happens.
Just a thought, give it a try.

How did you figure this out? Is it the plug? Wire? Cap? Rotor?

i was going to mention that. it happen to me a while back when we swapped an obd2 sohc motor in my eg. we had to rewire the dizzy and it turned out we rewired it wrong. the timing was bad and also there was gas leaking from the header. we simply just rewired it correctly and the problems went away
