MSD ?'s
Has anyone else had problems with MSD ignitions, specifically 6A's? I've heard that they fry ignitors and other stuff. Currently my engine is N/A and I know I don't really need it, but I have plans to boost in the future so I figured that running it now can't hurt. Or can it? Any input is appreciated. TIA

I had a 6a on my rex for about a month- then it died on me on the freeway- I remember the sound it made when I threw it against a concrete cylinder of an underpass at 75 mph. I knew I was wasting my money when I bought it.
I've had an MSD or two. The first one fried an igniter or two (I have to blame the MSD, it is never my fault). I burned the MSD when I had oil in a cylinder and it shorted out the spark plug (at least that was my 1 minute diagnosis, the car ran fine after I removed the MSD). My second one worked fine, but it didn't have the rev-limiter, it was a 6a. My third one is the BTM, I need it for those darn BMW M cars and my turbo. So far....I don't want to say it, because of the reprocussions....I am happy. I only prefer the MSD over the other brands because of the rev-limiter, it is easy to make a multi-stage limiter for staging, shifting and showing off.....
