Default **LS/Vtec!**

i am in the middle of fixin up my car and i want some opinions....

i have a 95 GSR head on a WRONGLY tapped LS block. I also just picked up a complete 97 LS motor with 60k on it.
--->No matter what i have to take out the CURRENT block.

should i go all LS and turbo later (Use the whole new engine and sell the head)
or
put the head on the new block and TAP IT RIGHT! Golden Eagle Vtec kit?

lmk. i would also like opinions from others that have used the Golden Eagle Vtec kit and how reliable/ if u used it before.
thanks!

If you use the Golden Eagle VTEC kit, you don't need to tap the block. If you are building for boost anyway, just put the VTEC head on the new LS block. You'll want it in the future anyway, it's a better flowing head.

You could go the other route, and just swap the new LS motor in. Its up to you really, but I would use the VTEC head.

I like to use a factory honda gasket on my motor..
unless your dropping some high rise pistons in there...then use a cometic.
