Default Reverse LS/Vtec

would that make it a Vtec/LS.

I have a built LS head, and can pick up a built B18C block. What do I have to consider to make this work?

Block off the dowels?
Measure deck clearance?
Timing belt?

Anyone have a link to someone that has done this, or any insights, thank you.

sell your built ls head and get a b16 or gsr head. guaranteed you will make more power this way.

I can understand where you're coming from but it would still make more power to take an LS block with B16 pistons and then use your built LS head.

haha i was just thinking of doing this today
hmmm i wonder.........
you would probably have to block the vtec selonoid feed hole
i wonder if the gsr block would distribute enough oil to the head??
keep this thread up cuz i would like to know also

i would presume that an LS longblock would be cheaper. part the gsr block out and get an ls. more power IMO and much cheaper.

I always wanted to do that with a B16 block b/c there's so many spare parts. I figured it'll be like a DOHC ZC motor. But doing that with a B18C block is a waste IMO. Do poorman's Type R.

You're assuming I'm ignorant to the fact I could swap a vtec head onto this and call it a day.

You're deceiving yourself to think that you have said anything insightful.
