Depends on the gauge. 99.9999% of AFR gauges are for narrowband 0-1 volt sensors, those won't work. THe ones that do work are specificly from companies that make wideband controlers, mainly because they have a controller in the gauge itself, or are meant to hook up to one. $125 is fairly common.

Alright thanks, thats what i was wondering being i got a cheapo one and thought i could just hook up a wide band sensor so it would read right. Thanks for the info!

it says "Jetta 4, 1.8T, '00-05 ***with AWP or AWW engine code*** "
but as far as i know the one from the bug is the one we need. ???

if you dont like that site. just serch for the part number on any major vw parts site.

they all gave them for around the same price.

"The correct VW part number for the sensor is 021 906 262 B.
It's used on the 1.8L turbo beetle from June 2000 on. It's also used on the Jetta VR6 and Turbo."
