Default Wideband O2 and Air Fuel Gauge

Well my brother gave me some gauges that he never used and one is an air fuel ratio.. well i searched on how to install it and it seems that its useless unless i get a wideband o2 sensor. Well can i just get the sensor install it and it work?? or is there more to it? (i really dont know to much on this so if i said something wrong please correct me) thanks

no you cant just buy the WB sensor and put it in. a wideband sensor uses 0-5 volts, a narrow band sensor (want honda's have) use a 0-1 volt.

Buy a wideband gauge, The one he gave you was probably a narrowband a/f gauge.
