Most accurate Air/Fuel Gauge?
Hello Everyone,
Does anyone know what's the most accurate air/fuel gauge that one could buy beside a wideband? I'm aware that the Greddy a/f is very accurate, but it only comes oversized.
Thanks in Advance
Wallace

Anything but a wide band will not be very accurate. The gauge doesn't really matter, its the sensor. Narrow band sensors are non-linear and a 0-1v output. Widebands output between 1-5v (depending on sensor) and have a more linear ouput. Fork up the $350 for a LM-1 from tuneyourengine.com and call it a day.

Thanks, but we already have a wideband that we tune our cars with. I'm looking for something that's going to stay in the car at all times and give me some kind of accurate reading. I just found this gauge from DynoTune, http://www.speedshop.org/store...ct=15, does anyone have experiences?

I still say it doesn't matter what gauge you stick on the factory O2 sensor... it won't be accurate. Not even worth the effort IMHO. EGT would probably be a better indication of air/fuel. Once you lock it in on the dyno you can monitor on the street. If EGTs gets high, you probably know why.

Man I hope youre kidding. Like its already been stated the guage doesnt matter if its reading off a narrowband sensor. If you already have a wideband tune with that and just run an EGT guage and youll be fine.

Re: Most accurate Air/Fuel Gauge? (vtec.dc2)
Autometer is pretty good quality. Gives you good readings for .2 - 1.2 volts (stock O2's, they're not 0-1 volts ) and gee it's a nice light show. I run all autometer gauges, most of my friends do also. Since you're already tuned with a wideband then just drop in a autometer and call it a day. Your readings should just bounce around the middle and hit the red and green every once in awhile. BTW- If you're tuned then the autometer gauge will read 1 click into the rich section when you're at WOT.
