Question regarding Buddy Club SPEC III Camshafts #17639

I was considering putting these cams in my OBD0 B16a, and I noticed on Buddy Club's website that these cams do not require modification to valvetrain (which to me means that I can use stock valvesprings). To me if there are various engineers who designed them saying that it is okay to use stock valvetrain components, then I just might agree with them.

if you keep a stock rev limit then stock springs would be enough, but considering the fact that they are pretty old i would change them anyways, is it cheaper to pay 200 for springs now or 500+ later when you floated a valve during a misshift.

Which springs would you recommend with stock retainers? It would more than like have to be dual valve springs, or just one stout a$$ single spring. I'm not going the titanium retainer route since it is pointless on the street.
I would say that normal operation of the valvetrain you wouldnt bind anything up
with stock GSR or B16 valvetrain. however, once you downshift really fast or
misshift or beat on them, the springs can get tired. remember, they are metal
and they do have memory and when you change the way they are used they
can see wear. its best also from a power perspective to run a new spring and
TIMING BELT to make sure you are safe to spin the motor the right way. thats
my .02 but it comes from some mistakes I've made wishing I could help
someone else. right now I have skunk stage 1s sitting out waiting to go into
my GSR but I dont want to run them until I can take the time to not only do
the springs, new LMAs (almost 100K) and belt... but I want to tune the car
with some other components all at once. definately take the time to do
something right the first time if you can

What is LMAs?
My motor is nearly brand new. I am going to guess that it has 35,000 miles on it at the most. It came from Japan. Then again, I do understand what you guys are saying. I am going to replace the timing belt before it goes into my integra.
