Default Valve spring question

A friend of mine suggested that instead of buying aftermarket valvesprings that I use my LS springs and a set of B16 inner springs when I modify my LS head (cams, port/polish, springs). Has anyone done this or know of anyone that has?
I only plan to rev to 7300-7500 cause I'm leaving the bottom end stock, and I'll use cams like the crower 403's.
Any suggestions on other valve springs would be appreciated.
Thanx

If you only plan on revving to 7500 then I wouldn't worry about upgrading past stock. It would however be a good idea to upgrade just in case somebody does something stupid with your car (like down shift to 2nd while doing 90). For that I don't know how much I trust Crower components, but there are plenty of good and reasonably inexpensive aftermarket solutions.

I want to change them anyways because of possible coil bind.

Another question, would ITR valve springs fit on an LS? I'm pretty sure that they don't but thought I'd ask anyway.

I did some research and even though I found no concrete evidence, I came to conclude that the ITR springs will not work on an LS head. At this point I would go with some good aftermarket ones.
