Even if you're pushing the gas, will the idle drop right down like you're not even touching it?

easiest way to check for fuel, unbolt the 2(10mm) bolts holding the FPR on,
which is on the end of the fuelrail, on the driver's side of the car.

Even if it's priming though, you could still have a faulty pump,
Try getting one from a friend to use quick, or look into buying one,
they're usually pretty cheap, under 100 used.

Sounds like it wants to run. You could pull the air intake tube and have someone spray starter fluid as you start it. If it runs better and longer as they spray, then you probably have a fuel issue. If it doesn't, then you probably have a spark issue.

there is nothing but my throttle body, no intake tube, i just put a jacksonblower on it, but that won't cause it to act like that, i'm leaning on the jackson fmu is shot(but its brand new) or the fuel pump, i am getting fuel , not sure how much, plenty of spark

sounds to me like timing is off a bit. if it wasnt getting fuel , you wouldnt even get a kick out of it. the dizzy you put on is it new or used? a bad CKP can give you prolems like that. no engine light by any chance? dont look like it will run long enough.

well i get a code 22 , ( but i understand this because its a jdm motor),then it blinks 2 times after that very fast i didn't get the 2 fast blinks before with the gsr distributor, the ls distributor for sure is good i know i took it off my old ls when it was still running, only thin i can think of is fuel or timming, but how could the timming be that bad off? i'm not for sure but i did have trouble with the distributor wires only the white ones, not sure if i hooked them back up right, but even if i didn't i would cause me to blow a fuse or get no spark at all, so i think i wired it back up right, regardless it won't start before with the gsr distributor, so there is something not right,

the gsr dizzy is different then the ls dizzy. the ignitor part numbers are different so it probably won't work. when my car wouldn't start it was the ignitor and my friend gave me an ls ignitor to try and the part numbers are different.

The legs/mounts are different, but they run on each other Perfectly fine,
People would often use the LS dizzy on a ls/vtec and chop one leg off,
but there is no issues in them being "different" that it would not run.

Dont spray a lot , if it doesnt work it could sit in your IM and get sucked up once you do get the car running .

I would check fuel pressure to see if the pump is up to par.
