Default tire shake?

well i noticed on the dyno at high boost the tires got some seriouse shake & were slipping cause i made less power than low boost did . wondering if that is normal sh*t. should i put vht on them. also i am on BFG RD at 10psi in the tire.

also noticed i got it on the street from time to time as well is that just the tires on the verg of hooking & slipping or what cause it feels like the car is going to fall apart.

the car runs like a beat spins all 4 gears on the street if u want it to on low boost. but normally u can pedal 3rd to get some speed them 4th hooks after about a sec. but its 3rd that shakes cause second just rips nasty loose. thats why i think its just on the verg of hooking & spinning.?

any input will be nice.

Might want to try different strapping techniques on the dyno.

Your experience is one of the key reasons that I prefer dynapack hub dynamometers. You also do not have to deal with the variables introduced by tyre growth, tire heat, loss of traction, and "strapping loads". My 2 cents.

no one really answerd my ???? is just from traction issues on & off the dyno?

what about vht on the tires?

aslo ive been thinking about putting 2 new straps basically straight down & cross them on the floor to pull down harder

run 4 straps in the front, 4 straps in the back, and dont use slicks or vht and you'll be fine

Crossing the straps helps tremendously and we have found that if you don't pull all the way on top of the roller, this also helps with tire spin.
