tranny shot?
Alrite I was showin my JDM b16 a little lovin by spinnin the tires some.. I started to go and I heard a snap, I thought it just popped out of gear, I tried to go and got nothing, clutch felt fine, I thought i snapped an axle. Today i popped out my axles and as i was doing so i heard someing rattleing in the tranny (where the axles insert in to it) i stuck my finger in there and felt a chunk of metal sitting in there, the axle looked fine, i felt around a little more in my tranny and it felt like broken metal... should i buy a new tranny
or just the tranny to a transmission shop?

Theres always flakes in there, its metal on metall all the time your always going to get friction and metal deposit from it. the best thing to do is drop the tranny and look at the gears yourself if you could do it. if not take it to your local shop and have them take a look at it and im sure they could point you in the right direction. if theres a pice of metal in there that you can feel thats always a bad sign.
