is my tranny bad??
just got a b16 from hmotorsonline.com and i drove it 2 days then it stated to vibrate bad in the front ...so i replaced the axles. but that didnt fix it...there was play in the passanger side axle. Where is goes into the tranny it wobbles back and forth and up and down..not much but enough for it to vibrate the hell out of my car...i cant drive more then 20 mph ...do i need to call hmo and send me a new tranny or is this a easy fix??

If you can wiggle the CV joint cup with the axle fully inserted into the tranny, then I would assume the tranny needs a new bearing. That would require a full disassembly.

well called steve at hmotorsonline...he said that it coudnt be the differental because if it was...the car wouldnt move. he also told me to take off the dust rings on the inside of the hubs. I just did this and still no fix.
I can move the inner joint in and out, and any direction...like its not locking in...i felt inside and nothing seems to be loose that i can tell...sigh...i just want my car to go...pleas someone help..
im about ready to pay someone via paypal if they can help!

Check if the teeth on the axle and diff. are in good shape; if the axle goes in smoothly and if the axle shaft sit in the diff. snuggly.
take the axle and oil seal out and measure the diff./case tolerance. If the differential and/or bearings are messed up the tolearances are going to be off.

Sounds like it could be the differential pin getting bad.. I had the same problem with mine.. The axles would wobble back and forth and then a week or so later it let go and I had to replace the tranny..
