11.5 is nothing crazy

I think my b16a was around 11.3 with a milled head (.020) and I daily drove it for a while.

i was thinking of just swapping out the piston (je)and another quick ques u guys think i could use stock rods or is the compression going to be too much for it (by the way its the sir 2 b16a) any info would good thanx

What I would do. I would just mill the head, keep it under .040" and you should be good with your stock pistons. Does the motor need rebuilt? Unless you really want to drop a ton of cash on a B16 I would stick with OEM parts.

What are you lookign to get out of your motor? If your a beginer I say read up and borrow an OMNI video from someone.

motor is just chillin in my garage i not a noob i want to get some opinions. the thing is with milling the head is that it can warp over time and valve clearance changes its a good opition. but i rather change the pistons and valvetrain, and shoot for 180-200 hp.

hell i might even go with ctr pistons and shaved the rods but i think i could get more with a aftermarket stuff and i want the engine to be reliable(daily driver, weekend warrior)
