Primemedia Finally Does Something Right!
I have no idea if my area or country is behind in the mag scene but I just picked up issue #1 from primemedia (spelling?) the makers of super street and all those fancy mags with the blinged out skylines with turbos the size of my head.
Since 2000 (I was late into the sport compact game heh) I've been reading these mags and learning what cool things I can do to sti's,skylines, rsx's, and all those cars in the 40k "canadian" plus range.
And you know what I don't have 40k to drop on a car and THEN payout 10k to modify it.
They at primedia finnally after my years of cursing the lack of useful info in these mags for a person much like myself.
MADE A MAG WITH REAL CARS REAL PEOPLE CAN BUY!!! YAY!
The first issue has a 95ex civic, a 240sx and a 90 talon... all cars people can afford when just getting into the game and still buy food to eat while they were in college.
I give mad props for this mag and I hope it brings more people into the racing scene and with the right information on how much hp their civic or what ever really does have and what they can do on a budget.
and hopefully it will cut down on the if I put this intake on my civic how much hp will I have?
I also posted this here cause I only read this fourm mostly

Primedia is losing alot of its old dedicated readers. Super Street for instance went from 200+ pages to barely 100+. Just the magazine's these days are losing alot of content quality.
I think they are focusing more on cars that can be built by you and me and not some multimillion dollar corporation. I myself was tired of seeing the big companies and their cookie cutout cars...one after another. Glad they made a change to showcase more realistically built cars with lots of blood, sweat, and tears vs. a signed blank check

sorry about forgetting to put the name in the post, doh
Project car is the name and it probably won't be too much of an asset to some one who's been wreching a car for years and years.
But it has damn good step by step instructions on how to do small and some bigger stuff just like you would find on dsmtuners.com or our very own HT.

The Civic Ex in Project car mag...... are they just installing a CAI and a header or something? I hope not because I am tired of seeing mags always doing the I/H/E on every damm civic.
