^^^ My car does the same thing, as well as my buddies. Its just the idle pulling the car for a little bit after you let off the gas.

i've had a few cars that would back up with no throttle just softly letting off the clutch, so i don't think doing this in reverse is a problem because of load position vs. idle (it's pushing in reverse) but forward i'd be worried about.

is there a higher idle when not in gear, say 1k-2k rpm's? if so i'd lookin into you iacv

it does this all the time even tho my car is warmed up n yes i checked my throttle cable, my car would be idling at 2.5k and i can just let off the clutch slowly and the car would go with out me gassing it. also when i take my car up to redline and stop my idle would start fluctuating from 1-2.5k.

If your idle is fluctuating all the time, then its another problem. I would check the IACV like mentioned before. Im not sure what engine you have but you can also check the FITV. A search will bring up how to's on how to clean or adjust these.
