check the valve to the heater core, make sure the cable is soundly attached and that the valve opens and closes smoothly...

then check to make sure that the core isn't leaking out all the nice, hot coolant....

I vote its the thermostat, its prolly stuck open and not letting the motor warm up.

not a bad way to spend $100

You did better than I did. I got my 4th gen for $150 and the engine was blown. tires were good though.

Check the lever and the valve on the coolant hose to the heater core.

The recirc button was sticky and pushed, and I didn't realize till today, so now she blows a bit of warm air, but not warm enough, so I think that t-stat is stuck open.

Plans are to install a gauge pod w/ oil pres & water temp, remove the seats, remove the rears, lay down 1 big strip of black carpet, and keep it a 2 seater, remove the power steering pump etc. It's gonna be a fun car in the summer.

And I'm located in Saskatchewan Canada, the amount of snow seen in the pics accumulated in over 24 hours

check your coolant too. i once didn't change the coolant in my car for at least 7 years and because of that, the coolant was brown sludge and it didn't produce hardly any heat.
