Default jdm trans will it work?

hey I got my hands on a 2000 lude sh with the ATTS longs stroy short I got it for cheap bc of a bad tranny that wont go into reverse. I found a good deal on used jdm tranny. I searched but found nothing about this. so will a jdm h22 trans without ATTS work with the ATTs unit on my car? thanks for the help

well if its just a regular jdm tranny you would know its the same as a base tranny

therefore it would apply to all those links UNLESS you had a type S tranny with atts

a simple "no it will not work" would have done just fine.

THEY ARE THE SAME! lol...Only two different type of trannies exist for the h22: atts (sh and type-s I think) tranny and the base (jdm, euro, usdm, lsd) tranny. Good luck dude

there are two ways you can use a jdm tranny in your case.

Buy a whole new base h22 engine.

or get an adaptor plate made for your SH block. I might e able to get one made for you if you want.
