JDM LSD from M2B4 Tranny into M2Y4 USDM 5G Base Tranny?
Is this possible? and if it is what is required?
I know that you must us the M2B4 tranny case.
Is it possible to use the M2B4 tranny and LSD with the M2Y4 gear set?

I have a M2Y4 with good gears and syncros and I want to use the LSD from a M2B4. The M2B4 syncros might be bad so I don't want to use them.

from wat i understand n know they are not interchangable... or i should say not everything is a direct swap....so is no good

The M2B4 has a physically larger gear set than the M2Y4. As long as you change the entire gear set and the selector forks form the M2Y4 into the M2B4 casing you shouldn't have any issues.

I'm actually looking at getting rid of the M2B4 tranny. It is currently not assembled and only requires bearings. I want to sell it for $300cdn....
