Car guzzles more coolant than normal
This one's got me thinking. Every other day, I have to refill my coolant reservoir. I checked the fuse for the radiator fan already. Did the raw egg into radiator trick, too.
Car temperature needle never exceeds point just below the middle. (if middle is 50%, needle sits at approx 44%).
The area around the radiator cap is fairly dry after driving around. Possible radiator leak? The car has 151,000 miles with the original radiator. So I'm also thinking, waterpump?
This issue started after I filled the oil with half a quart and forgot to put the oil cap back on. Oil leaked out into the engine bay, but I never full throttled the car that day. I noticed the smell and put the oil cap back on immediately.
Gimme ur thoughts

Put some cardboard under your car overnight and while it's just idling. That'll show any kind of leak to the ground.
Notice any different coloured smoke comming out your tailpipe?

You'd smell it if you were burning it. It's sugary and gross.
Squeeze all your hoses when the car is cool and listen for coolant flowing. Even a pinhole in a coolant hose will spray it everywhere, because its pressurized.
Do you see any liquid on your driveway, or anything? It has to be going somewhere.

While driving home the other night I noticed that when I stop I can smell radiator fluid, but only when I'm at a complete stop. So when I got home I left my car running and grabbed a flashlight, looked under the car, and I'm dripping antifreeze from the waterpump side of my engine. YAY! new waterpump time.
Leave your car running and take a look under the car.
...and do what the other posters have recommended too.

its possible that you killed the head gasket when the oil cap was left off. Loss of oil can increase cylinder temp, and burn head gaskets, which can cause you to burn coolant. check for white smoke, or poor fuel economy or general lack of power. Also, check your plugs, if they are really white and sooty, then you are burning coolant.
