Purge cutoff solenoid

Purge cutoff solenoid
I broke the plastic fitting that attaches to the purge cutoff solenoid. The hose that attaches to this fitting attaches to the charcoal canister. Can I just use RTV sealant to fix this?

Thanks, man. I just completed a valve job on the exhaust valves and it runs really good now. Nice to know that this is a simple fix.
