or so i have a 99 civic si with a 95 b18b block with a b16a2 head, with a greddy turbo kit...im running a fmu"i know they suck". the problem is when i hit around 5k rpms the car bogs and lags a lot. almost like vtec is working backwords...

this happend when i wasnt lsvtec but turbo with my ctr ecu, what could the probem be??

yeah it will work. just tune it. i wouldnt be redlining a turbo setup unless its tuned

hard to say dude , easier to diagnose when the cars are closer to stock. could be numerous things. start with dizzy maybe , ignition components. or stuff that was changed in the car like wiring. check for errors.

 

does it have injectors.

its probably hitting fuel cut-off and thats why its bogging.

seriously get rid of the FMU and dont redline that ******* car unless its tuned. LS/vtec doesnt last long to begin with, why expletive it up before you get a chance to enjoy it.

you'll need more fuel, GET IT TUNED then drive it.

Get larger injectors and get the Hondata in there and tuned.
