Okay I have a 98' Civic hatchback and want to BAR a 00' B16 motor into it. What will I need to do to get this done? For all that I know already is that I cant use the stock 99-00 SI engine wiring harness into my 96-98 civic hatch. RIGHT? Unless im wrong. Some of the plugs are different, correct? N also I was told that I might need the EVAP canister from the 99-00 Civic SI. Is that also right? I need help quick.... Thanks in advaced....

Thanks alot.... Umm, it kind of helped but that setup was for 92-95 civics. What I'm looking for is 96-00 setups.

im sure you can use the 99 harness. you just need all the emissions hooked up

 

Just have your stock 98 harness rewired for vtec(oil press, vtec signal) and have the o2 sensor wires lengthened. Then you can add an evap canister or use a aftermarket oil catch can for the blow by gases.
