you need the usdm p30 ecu, evap purge solenoid, usdm exhaust manifold or carb excempt header, correct intake system or carb excempt equivlent. i did it in my 95 coupe so hit me up if you need help.

oh yeah, to hook up the evap purge solenoid you either need a usdm intake manifold or to modify the jdm intake manifold t work, search under my name i showed a step by step how to do it.

p30 ecu comes from a usdm delsol< < does it have to be from the same year? do i really need the headers or can i pass with the jdm<? another thing can my stock exhaust work or do i need a new cat. im planning to modify the intake manifold. so tell me how. to recap i need 3 things right. oh yeah my cat is worth crap right now so should i get a stock cat or high flow.

It's pretty hard but it's easier than a H22

That works too.

God Bless

youll need a usdm header or an aftermarket B16 header w/ CARB number. your stock cat/exhaust should work fine unless you are having problems w/ your cat. if thats the case, after you pass the visual inspection, theyll smog your car. youll find out if your cat is bad then. an alternative would be to run a high flow CARB legal cat or borrow/buy somebody elses stock cat.

it depends on the inspector, but they can tell if the exhaust manifold is usdm or jdm. so to play it safe get a usdm manifold or a carb approved del sol header.

i passed on my 95 coupe, with

1. recipt for the motor
2. modified jdm intake manifold with evap purge solenoid hooked up
3. dc sports header
4. aem intake
5. usdm p30 ecu

then all the normal tune up stuff to pass emissions

the cleaner the swap the better the odds

If you really dont wanna change out the header, try putting a stock heat shield over it.

I passed my jdm gsr with the jdm header and heatshield. Went to 3 different ref stations and none of them bothered to look under the heatshield. haha, i guess heatshield = must have stock header underneath

But like built562 says, it really depends on the inspector.
