most people still convert their obd2 car to OBD1 to make it easier, its hard to make an obd1 motor work with obd2 ecu without codes, like the crank position sensor, obd1 motors dont have that so i dont know how ur gonna bypass that. usually what most people do is just get an obd1 ecu, and adapter harness from obd2 to obd1, no need to change out injectors or distrib, all u need is just the harness and ECU

good luck,

im not ******* dumb. the car is already running an obd1 ecu. i have to convert the motor to obd2 so i can run an obd2 ecu to pass emissions. the crank position sensor is in the oil pump on obd2 motors. im just gunna jump the two wires together to fool the ecu.

i need to know what else needs to be changed.

and civicstar, please dont post in my threads anymore.
