How do you change your transmissin fluid?
1 - drive around til tranny fluid is at operating temperature
2 - wherever you stop to drain, make sure the car is level (very important)
3 - unbolt the drain plug (3/8ths inch drive)
4 - let that stuff drain out
5 - bolt the drain plug
6 - unbolt the check/filler plug (17mm)
7 - fill the tranny til fluid drips out
8 - bolt the check/filler plug
to fill, it helps to attach tubing to a funnel, feed the tube into the tranny thru the engine bay, hold the funnel up, and just pour the fluid in. it'll take over 2 quarts.
good luck.

one more thing, it's transmission, not transmissin.
also, in our case, it's actually a transaxle, not a transmission, since the differential is inside the tranny.

Just in case you can't loosen the fill bolt after all fluid has drained out. Duh.

Very simpl just like changing oil. You have to either get a pump or a long funnel to fill it back up tho. Think about that before you start and realize you cant get a bottle in there and pour it in.
I used a funnel with the passenger wheel off. Was able to angle it in there and pour the fluid in slowly.

yeah I usually take out the fill plug first to make sure I can fill it before I drain it from the drain plug.. but those are good instructions supplied above.. anyway I bought a pump at my local auto parts store for under $5.. the pump attaches to a standard 1 quart bottle and it has a long vinyl tubing so you can pump and direct the fluid in the fill hole.. thats what I use to fill my tranny.. the funnel and tube would work also... you can stick your finger in the fill hole to see if the fluid is up to level or fill it until it begins to trickle out a little.. it takes about 2 quarts.. more like 2.3 or so..
