Default problems with fast turbo oil line kit

im installing a turbo kit on my 00 si using a fast turbo oil line kit and when i tried to install the feed line fitting that goes into the motor where the stock oil sensor goes it wont thread in......it sorta tries to grip but it doesnt...i spent like 45 minutes on this and nothing...i ended up putting the oil sensor back in place until i can figure this out...i have never seen anyone have problems with these kits before....is my **** retarded or something?.....are fiitings like these attainable from a hardware store if i show them the stock sensor threads and show them what i need?......damn it i need to get on with this.....thx...

use a nut the size of the oil pressure sending unit and see if the oil fitting goes into it... if no, well just get an adapter from an automotive or hardware supply store.

well, are fittings like the one supplied in the kit available at hardware stores?...can i walk in and say, "match this piece"?...i think i may have damaged the tip of the threads when i dropped it...looks a bit squashed....hardly noticeable but i figure this would be causing it not to thread.....the oem sensor has a flared tip which goes in and then it starts threading...the fitting is just flat and the threads begin right away...u can feel it hook but then it comes off...doesnt grab....damn...

The stock sensor hole in the block isn't NPT thread like the brass fitting you're trying to screw in there. Get an adapter fitting from tunertoys or a golden Eagle (or equivalent) oil filter sandwich adapter.

Should be smooth sailing from here on. Good luck.
