Idle Screw Question on my 98 lude
so ya my car idles whenever i drive it around. it idles from 1000 to 1700 almost to 2000. we checked all the vacuum lines it was cool. then we tightened the screw for the idle. it was still idleling. but theres this other scew below it. it looks like an allen ranch. but we tried fitting an allen rance in it but it didn't fit.
is there a special tool to tightened that piece?
if so does anyone know whats is called and where i can get it.
thanx.

you don't mess with the allen wrench thing. the only thing you should be messing with is the flathead screw.

idles whenever you drive it around? all cars idle. Is it jumping or is the idle just too high? If its jumping, its probably the IACV. If its constantly too high, it could be a bad vacuum line, bad iacv, or a lot of things. be more specific and search
