i know what your thinking, there is no such thing as an oem vtec light, i just put that as the topic so you would look at it. But i do have a vtec light that looks oem. The setup i have now is a wire tap to my spool solenoid which the tap wire is pinned into my speedometer, using a pin off a junked harness. ok if you dont get that i have pictures, but anyway, my problem is, the vtec light stays on whenever vtec is not engaged, and when it does, it goes off. any help/ideas,/speedo diagrams?

because you have 12v hooked to the other side of the light. hook it to ground and you will be golden
