Default why the low trap speed?

i was making 365 whp and running constant 11.20's @ 122-123. this is a 2300 lb ek with 84mm b16, t3/t4, hondata, 14 psi, 3" downpipe/exhaust setup.

i see other people running the same low 11's trapping in the low 130's. why can this be? is my low hp kinda topping out on the bottom end of the track?

does my setup have a better pass in it?

Whats your 60ft.?

Most of those 400-500whp cars are probally not hooking up right and with that power they can trap that high. Also depends on the motor/turbo setup too that has alot to do with it.

Your numbers are good don't get me wrong but maybe thats all it has in it with 365whp. Just keep hitting the track and see what happens. Good Luck

Wow thats good, there's a teg with 450whp that ran 11.6@129 in another thread. It'll come down to the motor/turbo like i said before b18 will pull harder on the top end than a b16.

Bigger turbo would help out alot with the top end too.

what size slicks?

with 360hp, your et's at that HP are prolly not going to get any better. Id say you've gone as fast as you prolly will at that hp (which isnt a bad thing)

if i would have to guess a mph/et for your setup (this would be based on 24.5/25 inch slicks, id prolly say 11.2's/11.3's @123-125mph

Id consider upgrading your turbo next/fresh tune

id say theres a lil more in that car then 11.6, assuming its a full weight Teg@129mph..

EDIT: i just seen that teg is on small 23's, sort of a different ballgame...

im using 24.5" slicks. im doing a new setup right now, pretty much starting over. hoping for 550whp. but ive alwasy wondered why my trap on the old setup is so low. i wasnt sure how far 365 whp would go.

heres the new setup.

Very solid setup you got there, don't worry about the old times just get that car all done and shoot for the 10's and then 9's.
