I've been helping my friend out with his EF CRX now for about a month. His car began with erratic timing and seizing to run. I checked out his ECU light and it was throwing CEL 15. Which is ignition output signal, or something similar. I tried the Helms fix for it, testing the lines to the dizzy plugs and everything. Yet, I could not figure anything out. He bought a new ECU, still had a problem, he bought another dizzy, still, it won't start. The starter works, it just does not fire. I'm not completely sure what the deal is. It's still throwing CEL 15 after everything. I hooked the correct wires to the correct terminals and everything. I'm not sure what's up...any help would be greatly appriceated. I've solved most of my own problems with my swaps, CEL problems, etc. But this one has got me f**king stumped. Alright?

FTW, it doesn't matter what the hell I say, if I'm doing something continually like mIRC, it doesn't take much brain power to realize I am bumping.

Does the car have fatermarket anything?, i.e. alarm, lighting, air intake. Does it have a swap? You said you supplied known good ecu & distributor, did you check for battery voltage @ the coil? And if the car has a tachometer and if the car does crank but not start when cranking the car does the tachometer needle jump when cranking? I guessing it does not jump.
Rule of thumb for no starts is if the tach doesn't jump during cranking its the spark if it does jump then its the fuel.

Main Relay working? I've had code 15 and it still ran good but the main relay would keep shutting off the fuel pump. It was very intermittent.
