Default CEL is on solid

I tried to pulled the codes from my computer(1995 Integra LS) and the cel light is on solid. My service manual is vague on what that means and I couldn't find a list here of the codes. Anybody know what that means?

Thanks,

That's the same procedure I followed but there doesn't appear to be a defination for a solid CEL. I hope it's doesn't mean the computer is fried and it can't generate any codes.

From what I've been told, a solid CEL means you're due for maintenance.

The code I was hoping for was 15(ignition output signal). My car won't start and I've traced it down to either the ignition control module or an ecu problem.

hey, I think its on solid because there is nothing wrong with it. You stated you car won't start right? In order for a CEL to work the engine has to start.

Checked for spark?

Checked for air?

Checked for fuel?

I would say coil or ignitor.

Here's what I've confirmed:
No spark: used a spark plug tester
Has air: I can hear the air moving thru the exhaust.
Has fuel: I can smell it when I pull out the spark plugs.

Electrically the coil tested fine, all of the resistances were within spec. When I went to test the ignitor, all but 1 of the wires read +12 volts. The odd-ball wire read 3 volts and according to the service manual that mean an ECU problem.

you can take that ignitor to Autozone. they have a tester there. ECU just don't burn man, I am hoping thats not it.

Thanks... I didn't know Autozone had a tester. All I'm able to test is the input voltages since it's solid state electronics.
